Advertising
Here you'll learn morn on how to use VSETH advertising channels.
VSETH provides various advertising channels for its organisations. Similar services are provided by various student associations (Fachvereine).
As students you can also simply:
- talk to your colleagues and fellow students (don't underestimate the effectiveness of word of mouth advertising)
- Drop by during a lecture break (remember to ask the lecturers in advance, and check in with the student associations, which professors would allow it)
Further options exist at ETH:
- Poster stans, screen advertisements and further options are available through Campus Channels
- Distribute Flyers; given you have a permit
- Screen advertisements directly from departments
- Screen advertisements directly from cafeterias
Are you also targeting UZH members:
- The communications service has display areas and provides an agenda.
If you have a large budget, you could also:
- SV group can distribute napkins in their cafeterias (at least 12 weeks in advance and costs approx. CHF 2'000 for 80k napkins)
- Napkins in the HCI Fusion Meal are coordinated through the compass group and contact is through Cafeteria management
Not legal
Discount promotions that include high-proof liquor (even in cocktails) are illegal and can result in fines or, in the worst case, revocation of the license. This also includes promotions such as "welcome shot for guests wearing a costume".
